It is with heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Ann Davis (Amarillo, TX), who passed away on April 1st, 2025 at the age of 76.
The Memorial Service will be held April 4th at Southwest Church of Christ, 4515 Cornell Street in Amarillo at 2:00 pm. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. There will be a graveside service at a later date.
Sue Ann was born April 14th, 1948 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Bill and Maxine Wallace. She was a graduate of Tucumcari High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Davis, on August 1st, 1967.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Davis, her two daughters, Donna Branch (husband Corey) and Audrey Selmon (husband Todd), her beloved grandchildren who called her Nene, Austin Selmon (wife Kadi), Reagan Branch, Zac Branch (wife Camryn), and Mason Selmon, her three great grandchildren, Kadin, Hadlee, and Waylon Selmon. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Danny Wallace (wife Roxie) and Tommy Wallace (wife Tara) and many deeply loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sue spent her energy as a homemaker, where she spent countless hours caring for her family and beyond. She worked at her home churches in both Borger, Texas and Roswell, New Mexico as a secretary for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed scrapbooking for family and creating genealogy books. Additionally, she loved traveling and camping. No matter the setting, spending time with family was her greatest joy. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives have been impacted by the love and care she generously extended.
