Sharyn Mulkey, 76, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Howard K. Batson, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Sharyn was born Aug. 4, 1937, in Port Townsend, Wash., to Cecil and Rose Thacker. She had worked at Amarillo National Bank for many years. Sharyn loved to travel with her husband, Gene Mulkey. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2012. Sharyn was a member of First Baptist Church.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Bussart and Anita Morrow; and a brother, Ray Thacker.
Survivors include three daughters, Shannon Kelly and partner Andie Garnand of Broomfield, Colo., Karin and Mike Gaddis of Amarillo and Stacy and Steve Crawford of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren, Matthew Bell, Krista Bell, Brian Crawford and wife Mindy and Leah Carithers and husband Chris, all of Fort Worth, Jared Gaddis of Houston, Hannah Gaddis of Dallas and Erin Kelly, Emily Kelly, Eric Dunlap and Taylor Dunlap, all of Broomfield; two brothers, Daniel Thacker of Chimacum, Wash. and Jeffrey Thacker of Port Townsend, Wash.; two sisters, Bette Fountain of Port Townsend, Wash. and Shelia Dorn of Puyallup, Wash.; and 6 great-grandchildren.
