Sharon Kay Scolley

Sharon Kay Scolley, 80, of Vega, TX passed away March 3, 2024.

Viewing will be from 12-6:00 PM, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers at Vega. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 PM. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 8, 2024 at Palo Duro Baptist Church in Wildorado. Interment will follow in Palo Duro Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers at Vega.

Sharon was born January 3, 1944 in Pittsboro, IN. She was one of nine children to her parents, Ercell and Helen Merritt. She married Thomas H. Scolley, Sr on May 9, 1964. She was a homemaker, mother, and wife to her family. She belonged to the Lady Club in and attended Palo Duro Church both in Wildorado.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ercell and Helen Merritt; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; 2 grandsons; and 1 granddaughter.

Sharon is survived by her husband Thomas H. Scolley; 5 sons, Terry, Tony and wife Juanita, Thomas Jr., Stacey and wife Glori, and Michael and wife Shannon; daughter, Michelle; beloved niece Sara and husband Mark; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
