Roy Owen Wall

Roy Owen Wall, 76, of Sebring, FL passed away on June 25, 2023.

Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Friday, June 30, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Interment of Roy’s ashes will be in Lawnhaven Cemetery in Clovis, New Mexico, Monday, July 3, 2023 at 1 PM (MST).

Roy was born February 10, 1947, in Clovis, NM to John and Juanita Wall. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for over 35 years. Roy loved to fish and restore older homes with his wife, Ellen. He also worked for the armored truck service as well as a recycling plant.  In addition, he and Ellen loved to collect antiques and they owned an antique store in Ruidoso, NM for several years. Roy’s signature trait was his dry sense of humor.  He was always quick on the draw with a funny comment or a stinging reply, especially when someone tried to pull one over on him. While Roy was a man of few words, when he did speak, it was always from the heart.

Roy is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Hickock Wall; sister, Harla Jean Gossett; and parents, John and Juanita Wall.

He is survived by daughters, Carrie Davis and husband Chris of Vega, TX, Sarah Luna and husband Rick of Amarillo, TX and Nicole Denil and husband Adam Grand of Coral Gables, FL; sons, Chris Denil and fiancé Debbie of Greenbay, WI and Matt Gonzales and wife Nicole Lee of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; sisters, Patsy Turner of Clovis, NM and Sherry Blain and husband Gary of Spring, TX; brother, Ronnie Wall and wife Kathy of Mountain Air, NM; and grandchildren, Savanna, David Michael and wife Julie, Isabel, Sebastian and wife Brisa, Diego, Matthew, Zachary, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Ashley, Sawyer, and Delaney.
