Rodolfo “Rudy” Aguirre, Jr.

Rodolfo “Rudy” Aguirre Jr., 60, of Amarillo, died on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at St. Laurence Catholic Church.  Burial will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Rodolfo was born on October 28, 1962 in Dimmitt, Texas to Rodolfo Aguirre Sr. and Olivia Mendoza Aguirre.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Aguirre; two sons, Jesus Rodolfo Aguirre III and Eduardo Aguirre; three daughters, Lucero Evelyne Aguirre of Amarillo, Isabel Aguirre, and Esmeralda Aguirre, of El Paso, Texas; his grandchildren, Andres Ezequiel Aguirre, Adelina Karyme Aguirre of Amarillo; Lauren Grey Lopez, Alison Lee Lopez, and Liam Jace Lopez of El Paso; his parents, Rodolfo Aguirre Sr. and Olivia Aguirre, of Amarillo; three brothers, Ruben Aguirre and wife Amalia, Julian Aguirre and wife Minerva, and Tony Aguirre, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Adela Vargas and husband Ruben of Cactus, and Yolanda Guerrero and husband Raul of Dumas.
