It is with deep love and gratitude that we celebrate the life of Robert Lee Elliott, who passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at the age of 97. Born in Wheeler, Texas, Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Navy veteran, civic leader, and friend.

Robert is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Cleavene Johnson Elliott, who preceded him in death in May 2024. Their love was strong, lifelong, and everlasting.

He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1948, earning multiple medals for his honorable service aboard the USS Mustin, USS Hollister, and USS Quick.

After returning home, Robert began his career as a lineman with Southwestern Public Service (SPS). A highly skilled electrician, he was known for his dedication, precision, and exceptional work ethic. His commitment and leadership carried him through the ranks, and he retired as the district manager for Texas New Mexico Power Company in Spearman, Texas.

Robert was actively involved in his community. He was a long-time member of the Spearman Rotary Club and served as president of the Spearman Chamber of Commerce in 1984.

Robert’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his children: Alan Elliott; Elaine Swart; Elizabeth Brown (Aaron); Charlotte Sheets (Mark); and Cindy Lavallee (Vince); grandchildren: Brad Brown; April and Matt Wood; Jared and Hannah Brown; Elliott and Erin Sheets; Russell and Dana Sheets; Tori Sheets; Matthew and Veronica Bain; Amanda and Monty Donaldson; Hannah Franklin; and Emma Franklin; and great-grandchildren: Brady Brown, Bryce Jarvis, Lachlan Wood, Kinsley Wood, Emily Wood, Cora Sheets, Billie Jean Sheets, Jordan Bain, Alex Bain, Lilliana Bain, and Austin Donaldson.
