Rick Eli Warden – April 29, 2017

Rick Eli Warden, 30, formerly of Claude, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, in Frost.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017, in First Baptist Church in Claude with Lance Wood officiating.  Burial will be in Claude Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers at Claude, 200 Parks.
Rick was born May 13, 1986, in Amarillo to Ricky and Irene Warden.  He graduated Claude High School and earned an associate’s degree from Texas State Technical College.
Rick married Carissa Daugherty on Jan. 26, 2017.  He was a member of Connect 4 Life.
He worked as an industrial electrician at James Hardie in Waxahachie.  He was referred to as “James Hardie’s best kept secret.”
Rick was a loving father, husband, brother and son.  He had the most beautiful smile that could light up a room.  He never met a person that left as a stranger.  Friends and family will always remember his jokes, laughter, and loving strong arms.
Survivors include his wife, Carissa Warden; a daughter, Abigail “Cracker” Warden; two step-daughters, Madelyn “Snickers” Sanford and Brylee “Munchkin” Sanford; a step-son, Grayson “Alfalfa” Sanford; his parents, Irene Eisenhaur and husband Dan and Rick Warden and wife Sherry; five sisters, Jennifer Kosiavelon, Amanda Bratten, Kimber Eisenhaur, Sara Honea and Rheanna Gurule; a brother, Matthew Gurule; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at the Boxwell Brothers Claude Chapel.
