Ricardo M. Presas

Richard M. Presas, 71, of Amarillo, TX passed away on April 8, 2025.

Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1717 S. Manhattan, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2:30 p.m.

Richard was born in Palacios, Texas on October 28, 1953, to Ana Maria (Martinez) and Benigno Presas.

Richard married Christina Presas on April 27, 1974 in Hereford, Tx.

Richard loved spending time with his family. Though, what he enjoyed the most, was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a proud supporter of his grandkids at any event. He enjoyed being surrounded by friends and making people laugh and always known for his smile. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing sports, piano, accordion, and listening to music. Richard was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, and shared in the ministry with joy.

Richard was preceded in death by both parents, Benigno and Ana Maria Presas; sisters, Graciela Presas, Rosa Linda Garcia, and Cecilia P. Olguin.

Richard is survived by his wife, Maria Christina Presas; daughter, Sabrina and husband Joel Sisneros of Amarillo, Tx; daughter, Tina Kay and husband Richard R. Ashcroft III of Royse City, Tx; son, Benigno “Ben” Ricardo Presas of Amarillo, Tx; grandchildren, Triston (Elidia) Neese, Jayden (Aubrey) Sisneros, Trayton (Psalm) Neese, Teagan Neese, Ana-Jolie Sisneros, Xavier Presas, Damian Presas; great-grandchildren: Sophia and Ava Sisneros; brothers, Rolando (Rachel) Presas of Colorado Springs, Co, Sergio (Dora) Presas of Midway, NM, and Joe L. (Peggy) Presas of Amarillo, Tx; fur grandbaby: Miss. Summer’s, a.k.a “Polar Bear; and many, many extended family.
