Rebecca “Becky” Lee

Rebecca “Becky” Kay Lee, 72, of Amarillo, TX passed away January 14, 2024.

Becky will be available for viewing from 12-8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Becky was born September 4, 1951 in Dumas, TX to Frank and Donna Moore. She married Ronnie Lee at his parents home, on August 16, 1968 in Amarillo. She had worked at Amarillo Globe News. Becky enjoyed gardening and being outside. She loved gathering for family activities and she was the glue that held them all together. She loved to cook, play bingo, play volleyball, softball, and taking her granddaughter to the pool. Becky loved all animals but ultimately became a cat lady! She was a mother figure to many. Becky was blunt and direct in her opinion of things, often leading people to believe she was a jokester. She and Ronnie always enjoyed riding in their ’81 Chevy Pickup and attending car shows together.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Donna Moore; and brothers, Marvin Leo Moore and Irvin Wayne Moore.

Becky is survived by her husband Ronnie Lee; daughter, Christy Quezada and husband Angel; granddaughter, Kayla Quezada; siblings, David Moore, Officer Kevin Moore and wife Marisa, and Kim Pham; sister-in-law, Joan Meixner and husband Dale; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
