Peter Frances Tamburello

Peter Francis Tamburello, age 76, passed away on January 23, 2025, after a lengthy period of illness. Peter was born to Vito and Marie Tamburello on January 29, 1948, in Washington D.C., grew up in New York, and returned to the D.C. area toward the end of high school. 

After graduating from the University of Maryland, he worked as an accountant for fifteen years before starting a successful home building company --- a natural career development given his knack for home improvement and repair. 

For most of his life, Peter was an active and youthful man. He enjoyed chess, tennis, golf, and ski vacations with his family; as well as scuba-diving and other outdoor adventures. He was mistaken for his son's brother more than once. 

Sadly, his health failed too early. He will be missed.

Peter is survived by his wife, Magdalena Tamburello, his son Peter Nicholas Tamburello and two daughters Andrea Tamburello and Katherine Tamburello.

A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 27, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount, Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are made by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
