Ms. Haynes was my teacher WAY back at Green Acres. In fact, Bob and I were classmates.

I remember one time when I was in her class, I was carving my name on the top of the desk. She caught me and said “Cary – Go back to the cloak room.” I received 2 or 3 swats (back when it was allowed). Other than that – great times being a kid.

The good thing now is she is reunited with Bob and the rest of the family.

To the Haynes family I am sorry for your loss, Mrs. Haynes was my 3rd grade teacher back in the mid 1980’s at Green Acres. She great a lady and patient with her students if they needed extra help. My dad had her husband James as a teacher at Dumas High School. May she rest in peace…and be remember by all who had her as an awesome teacher and in life.
