Pamela Kay George, 68, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 13, 2018 in Hillside Christian Church Chapel, West Campus, with Rob Attaway officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Pamela was born on March 9, 1950 in Amarillo, Texas to Phyllis and George Pearce. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1968 and was active in the alumni. She had worked at Pantex for 44 years. Pamela was president of OPEIU local 306 for 36 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sheila Nix.
She is survived by her partner in life, Paul Owen; daughter, Melissa and Terry Miller; son, Jeremy and Roxana Roy; grandchildren, Paige Miller, Taylor Miller, Kaitlin Roy, Haven Roy, and Austin Roy; two brothers, Bobby and Debbie Pearce and Jim and Kathy Pearce; her brother-in-law, Rickey Nix; her dear friend, Kathy Jo Hawkins; her nieces and nephews, April and Jim Whaley, Paula and Troy Don Allcorn, Kent and Leslie Nix, Shane and Leah Pearce and Brandi and Eric Hardy; and her treasured dog, Zoe.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 3, Sunday at the funeral home.
