Pamela A. Bush

On September 22, 2023, Pamela Ann Bush passed away at the age of 79. Pamela is survived by her son Bill, daughter Becky, and sister Jane.

Pamela was born in Denver, Colorado but spent most of her youth in Santa Paula, California. Pamela moved with her husband and two children to Amarillo in 1978. Pamela was a kindergarten teacher at Park Hills Elementary (formerly Lee Elementary) in Amarillo for over 30 years. Teaching was her passion and she loved working with her young students. She made strong relationships with her students’ families, sometimes teaching the children of her former students!

Pamela was a member of the San Jacinto Church of Christ. Her church family was also very important to her. She enjoyed her Birthday Club lunches among her other church activities.

Pamela was a passionate gardener and loved her beagle Maggie!

Pamela was a great mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at San Jacinto Church of Christ on 823 S. Mississippi St. Amarillo, Tx 79106 Thursday, September 28 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
