Olivia Amparan-Talamantes

Olivia Talamantes-Amparan, 62, of Amarillo, TX passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Olivia will be available for viewing from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. Rosary will be said at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Mass will be at 10:00 am, Monday, October 28, 2024 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 N Spring St., with Father Haider Quintero as celebrant. The burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Olivia was born in San Francisco de Conchos Chihuahua, Mexico on January 19, 1962, to Magdaleno and Camerina Amparan.

She grew up in Mexico where she met and married Adrian Talamantes. She moved to Amarillo with her family. Olivia enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies who she would spoil so much. She enjoyed going to the casinos anytime she could. Olivia enjoyed joking around with her family and friends. She would put everything and everyone before herself. She was very friendly and lovable. Olivia had the most beautiful green eyes. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Jose Talamantes; three sisters, Leticia, Hilda, and Concepcion; and two brothers, Jose and Ismael.

Olivia is survived by her husband, Adrian Talamantes, of the home; children, Jose Adrian Talamantes, Jennifer Aguilar and husband Luis, and Samantha Talamantes and husband David, all of Amarillo, TX; brothers and sisters, Altagracia, Adela, Martha, Cornelia, Ramon, and Jesus Amparan; and grandchildren, Arian Aguilar, Alani Aguilar, Keilanni Gonzalez, and Mateo Gonzalez.

Olivia estará disponible para ver de 10:00 a. m. a 5:00 p. m., el sábado 26 de octubre de 2024 en Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. El rosario se rezará a las 5:00 p.m., el domingo 27 de octubre de 2024 en la Capilla Boxwell Brothers Ivy. La misa será a las 10:00 am, el lunes 28 de octubre de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica St. Laurence, 2300 N Spring St., con el Padre Haider Quintero como celebrante. El entierro se realizará en el Cementerio de Llano. Los arreglos están a cargo de Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Olivia nació en San Francisco de Conchos, Chihuahua, México, el 19 de enero de 1962, hija de Magdaleno y Camerina Amparán.

 Creció en México, donde conoció y se casó con Adrián Talamantes. Se mudó a Amarillo con su familia. A Olivia le gustaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos, a los que mimaba tanto. Le gustaba ir a los casinos cada vez que podía. A Olivia le gustaba bromear con su familia y amigos. Pondría todo y a todos antes que a sí misma. Era muy amable y adorable. Olivia tenía los ojos verdes más hermosos.

Le precedieron en la muerte su hijo, José Talamantes; su madre, Camerina; su padre, Magdaleno; tres hermanas, Leticia, Hilda y Concepción; y dos hermanos, José e Ismael.

A Olivia le sobreviven su esposo, Adrián Talamantes, de la casa; hijos, José Adrián Talamantes, Jennifer Aguilar y su esposo Luis, y Samantha Talamantes y su esposo David, y nietos, Arian Aguilar, Alani Aguilar, Keilanni González y Mateo González; hermanos y hermanas, Altagracia, Adela, Martha, Cornelia, Ramón y Jesús Amparán, todos de Amarillo, TX.
