Norval L. Britton, 80, of Amarillo, died Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Corky Holland, minister of Pastoral Care at First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Britton was born March 14, 1932, in Cone to John A. and Stella L. Britton. He moved to Amarillo in 1946. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1951. Mr. Britton was in sales most of his life. In later years he managed campgrounds in the Colorado mountains.
He was preceded in death by his parents John A. and Stella L. Britton; and his wife LaJuana S. Britton.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Britton; two daughters, Tanja and husband Lynn Miller of Amarillo and Angela and husband Roger Wells of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Deanne Cothrin of Amarillo; two sisters, Betty and husband Bill Sloan of Raleigh, North Carolina and Neta Mason of Ft. Worth; three nephews; two nieces; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 5210 Albert in Amarillo.
