Norma Jean McMahon – May 14, 2012


Norma Jean McMahon, 75, of Amarillo, died Monday, May 14, 2012.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2012 in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Dr. G.A. Roach, chaplain, officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. McMahon was born Sept. 13, 1936, in Sayre, Oklahoma to Elmer and Alma Farber.  She had lived in Dimmitt, Shamrock and most recently Amarillo.  Mrs. McMahon was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Wade Birdwell and Richard “R.V.” McMahon; a sister, Ina Merle Bryan; a grandson, Paul Henry; and her parents.
The family gives special thanks to the staff at BSA Hospice for their loving care and support of our mother during these past few weeks.
Survivors include two sons, Keith McMahon and partner, Anita Tilden of Amarillo and Robert Norris and wife Leslee of Mesa, Arizona; three daughters, Barbara Henry and husband Rex of Aubrey, Susan Huckert and husband Donnie of Wheeler and Debbie Graves and fiancé Mark Pennington of Springtown; two brothers, J.A. Farber and wife Mary of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Hershel Farber and wife Oleta of Amarillo; and two sisters, Geraldine Tyson and Patricia Pair, both of Sayre, Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79105.
