Monna Jean "Jeannie" Erdman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning, March 14th, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind a legacy of love, selflessness, and strength.

Jeannie was a woman of remarkable character, known for her kind and caring nature. She was driven by a deep faith in God, always seeking to serve and uplift those around her. Her artistic spirit and creative soul were evident in everything she touched, and her “go-get-it” attitude inspired those who knew her to embrace life with enthusiasm and determination. She gave unconditionally, always putting others' needs before her own, and was a pillar of support to her family and friends.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Robert Erdman, with whom she shared a bond of love and devotion. Married in Memphis, TN May 6th, 1983. She leaves behind her siblings, Elbie Groves, Pattie, and Davie Collins. Her children, Deborah Drummond, Jeffery and Kelli Drummond, were blessed to be raised by such a devoted and caring mother. Jeannie’s pride and joy were her grandchildren, Stephen and Christy Porter, and Jordin and Logan Farley, as well as her great-grandchildren, Haylee Porter and Anthony Farley, who filled her life with endless happiness.

A celebration of Jeannie’s life will be held at a later date. Jeannie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, faith, and giving will continue to inspire us all. May she rest worshiping Jesus, forever cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
