Micheal “Trey” Jones, 35, of Borger, TX died Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Grace Fellowship in Borger, TX.
Trey was born September 21, 1988, at Ft. Benning, GA to Robert “Micheal” Jones and Lesa Marie (Rosner) Stark.
Trey served in the US Army and worked as a contractor in commercial construction. He also had many certifications, including his CDL. He was one of
the hardest-working men. If you needed anything, he was the person to call. If he couldn’t figure it out right away, he worked until he was a master at it. He never knew a stranger when he was out. The shirt on his back was yours if you needed it. You always had “two seconds” to get a response from Trey or do
something for him. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and
cooking. Trey was a crack shot when it came to hunting, and rarely came home without a fish after his line hit the water. So many fish were caught, he held mandatory fish fries, and you were not allowed to say no to attending. He absolutely loved riding, and every day was “victory day”. Every ride had a crazy story and a new adventure. It was never a boring ride with Trey. He was, without a doubt, one of the best cooks. If you were in the kitchen, he kicked you out, even if it wasn’t his own. The outdoors was where he found peace, especially in the mountains.
Trey loved with his whole heart and so many loved him in return. He will be more than missed by his friends and family. We will “see ya on the other side, 10-4.”
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Judy Jones and Peggy Isbell, his grandfathers, James Rosner and Robert Jones
, and his stepfather, James Stark.
Survivors include his children, Wyatt and Austyn, his father, Mike Jones and his
