Mary Lucille Sneed or well known as "Lucille" was a beloved mother and grandmother during her blessed, amazingly, incredible 98 years of life. Lucille passed peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, September 14, 2024. 

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. 

Mary Lucille Sneed or well known as "Lucille" was a beloved mother and grandmother during her blessed, amazingly, incredible 98 years of life. Lucille passed peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, September 14, 2024. 

Born in Spring Valley, Texas to the parents of Robert and Ada Sneed. Lucille resided in Spring Valley until moving to Amarillo, Texas at 18 years of age. 

Lucille built her life on helping others. She never met a stranger. Lucille would always state, "Treat people the way you want people to treat you." "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Lucille was one of the best caregivers taking care of her entire family. 

Lucille worked for several families here in Amarillo, Texas. Impacting those families children and their children. Those families share how grateful they are she was part of their lives. 

Lucille’s favorite hobby was fishing and she wouldn't be scared to let you know that. Lucille also enjoyed playing dominoes and working on puzzles. Lucille was one of the best cooks with recipes being published in a cookbook. 

Lucille is survived by her four children, Robert Sneed of Wichita Falls, Tx, Jimmie and Timmie Sneed of Amarillo, Tx, and Thomas Sneed of El Paso, Tx; grandchildren: Chris Temme, Alecia Gipson, Tori Dawn Sneed Tran, and Tasha Jones; great- grandchildren: Matthew Neal, Christyn Temme, and Cyraiah Temme; great-great-grandchildren: Aurora Tran, Evyn Brown, and Jane Neal; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and cousins.
