Marvin Anton Roberts, 61, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, November 12, 2024. 

Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2024, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Ryan Winger, celebrating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. 

Marvin was born on March 29, 1963 in Columbia, Louisiana to Olevia and Lem Roberts. Marvin’s family moved to Virginia Beach in early 70s, and he graduated from Green Run High School. He was always passionate about working out, fitness, and American cars. Next to his children, his mustang and muscles were his baby.  

From Virginia Beach, he moved to Texas where he eventually met his wife. He married Leticia Trevizo on March 3rd, in 2018, and was a self-employed truck driver transporting for Cargill. He usually would spend his days lifting weights, watching movies, talking on the phone with friends and family, and loved spending quality time with his loved ones. Marvin was loved and adored by many. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Mechele Roberts, and his mother, Olevia Roberts. 

He is survived by his wife, Leticia Trevizo, of the home; father, Lem Roberts; brother, Kendall Roberts; daughter, LaTisha Roberts; sons, Marvin Askew and Monty Askew; stepsons, Ricardo Arpero and Oscar Arpero; stepdaughter, Jeanette Arpero Bissoni; grandchildren, Jaden Clark, Tierra McSwain-Roberts, Ahriyah Askew, Teyana McSwain-Roberts, Reyden Arpero, Adelina Arpero, Amelio Arpero, Alessandra Arpero, Noemi Amelia Bissoni, and Marcellino Avery Bissoni.
