Mark Lee Wilson, 60, of Amarillo, passed away on November 25th, 2022
Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel at 2800 Paramount Blvd with Tom Jones officiating.
Mark was born on September 20th, 1962, in Perryton, TX, to Melvin and Alma Wilson. They moved to Amarillo when Mark was young, and he went on to
graduate from Amarillo High School. Then went on to get a degree in welding and was very talented at it. He was a farmer, a business owner, and, most of all, a father. Mark loved his two boys more than anything in the world. He mostly spent his time with his boys coaching them in sports or taking them hunting and fishing. He loved to hunt and fish but loved to share it with his boys even more. Mark invested in everyone around him, even his kids’ friends. He loved everyone profoundly and made sure you knew it. Mark also enjoyed a good prank. He was a great father and had a larger-than-life persona. He will be truly missed and always remembered as a loving father.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Richard Wilson.
Mark was survived by his mother, Alma Wilson; Son, Michael Wilson; wife, Maddie; Son, Joshua Wilson; two grandkids; and his sister.
