Mario Zubiate Hernandez, aged 81, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, December 1, 2023. The prayer service will be at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

The funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Luis Castaneda officiating.  The burial will be in Llano Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at Boxwell Brothers Funeral home at 5 P.M., Monday, December 4, 2023

In Loving Memory of Mario Zubiate. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved patriarch, Mario Zubiate, who left this world on December 1, 2023. Mario, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving God and family.

Mario was born June 28, 1942, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Zubiate and Trinidad Hernandez. He Married his beautiful wife in February 1970. He left behind three kids, five grandsons, four granddaughters, and one great- granddaughter. Mario led a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and profound faith in God. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Cloty, for 53 years and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by God blessings, and the love that he so freely gave during his remarkable journey through life.

El servicio de despedida será a las 12:30 p.m., el Martes 5 de Diciembre, 2023. En la Funeraria Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Oficiara el pastor Luis Castaneda.  La sepultura sera en el panteón Llano.

En memoria de Mario Zubiate. Con un gran pesar en nuestros corazones anunciamos la partida de un amado gran patriarca, Mario Zubiate, quien,  dejo este mundo este Viernes 1 de Diciembre, 2023. Mario, paso a mejor vida en paz y en compañía de su amado Dios y amada familia.

Mario nació el 28 de Junio de 1942 en Chihuahua, México. Sus padres Jose Zubiate y Trinidad Hernández. Se caso con su hermosa esposa en Febrero de 1970. Le sobre viven sus dos hijos y su hija. Cinco nietos, cuatro nietas y una bisnieta. Mario deja una remarcada vida que lleno con su amor y alegría y una gran fe en Dios. Fue un devoto esposo para su esposa Cloty, en los 53 años de matrimonio y un amoroso Padre, Abuelo y Bisabuelo.

Que descanse en la eterna paz, rodeado de las bendiciones de Dios y del amor que libremente compartió a lo largo de su sobresaliente jornada en esta Vida.
