Margaret Louise Greenhouse Hooper

Margaret Louise Greenhouse Hooper, 88, of Amarillo, TX was born April 6, 1934, and entered into rest November 29, 2022.  “Lou” was a strong, confident overcomer that deeply loved her family, friends, and Sugarbear.  She enjoyed her home, gardening, reading, and made delicious Irish potato pies.  Her favorite gospel song was “

I Must Tell Jesus.”

Summing up her life journey she wrote, “God was always there with me.”

She was predeceased by her parents, Johnny and Mamie Weeks; her husband, Darrell Greenhouse; and brothers, Johnny Weeks and Leonard Weeks.

Surviving children include her sons, Tim Greenhouse, Sam Greenhouse and wife Elaine; daughter, Darla Cole and husband Don.  She had six grandchildren, great, and great-great-grandchildren.  Surviving brothers and sisters include, Glenda Malone, Betty Stater, Bob Weeks, Ron Weeks, Kenny Weeks, and Teresa Guinn, along with several nieces and nephews.

Our family invites you to join us for services at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, TX.  Family visitation will follow the service.  Interment will be at the Wheeler Cemetery.
