Margaret H. Little of Amarillo died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the age of 82.
Memorial services will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church 2525 Wimberly Road, in Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Little was raised in Austin, and graduated from the University of Texas where she was active in the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
In 1957 she married Jack E. Little and moved with him to Amarillo.
Mrs. Little enjoyed her years as a dedicated stay-at-home mother and was an excellent seamstress. She was active in the Junior League of Amarillo and served with the PTA where her children went to school. Once the children got older she got her teaching certificate and spent many years challenging young minds at Coronado Elementary School. After she retired from teaching she thoroughly enjoyed traveling the world with Jack. She developed an appreciation of antiques from her mother, and used that interest when she became a docent with Harrington House.
Her husband, Jack, preceded her in death in 2015. Survivors include: sister, Mary Baker from Dallas, Texas; sister, Jo Black from Austin, Texas; daughter, Janet Tweed and her husband, Craig, from Glendale, Arizona; daughter, Karen Harbaugh from Amarillo; son, Mark Little and his wife, Trish, from Frisco, Texas. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Jessica Tweed Medlin of Sun City, Arizona; Duncan Tweed of Salmon Arm, British Columbia; Stephanie Harbaugh Longmire of Lubbock, Texas; Mitchell Little of Frisco, Texas; Morgan Little of Frisco, Texas, and four great-grandchildren.
