Luis Valles

Luis Valles, 80, of El Paso, Texas died on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in El Paso.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus with Father Victor Hugo Andrade officiating.  Burial will be at the Dumas Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Luis was born on February 28, 1943 in Mexico to Jose and Encarnacion Valles.  He had farmed his entire life.  He loved being around his family, walking about, and spending time with his animals.

He was preceded in death by his wife Estela Ramirez Valles; and three children, Cuca Valles, Samuel Valles, and Ismeal Valles.

He is survived by four sons, Donato Valles and wife Juana, Jaime Valles, Luis Valles, and Jose Ivan Valles; six daughters, Esmeralda Mendoza and husband Miguel, Rosa Valles and husband Francisco, Beatriz Valles, Maria Luisa Valles, Maria de Refugio Herrera and husband Yasmany, and Brenda Valles; a sister, Maria de Rosario Valles; thirty-three grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and two special care givers the family appreciates very much, Magdalena Salas and Esmeralda de Leon.
