Louis Ikelandan Berg, 34, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. 

Services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2024, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will follow after services at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. 

Louis was born on May 14, 1990 in Borger, Texas where he grew up and attended Borger High School. He was an elite athlete and excelled in Wrestling, Tae Kwon Do, Football, Bowling, and Pool. He later attended the University of Houston where he graduated as Valedictorian with Summa Cum Laude Honors. He majored in Psychology and minored in Finance. After graduating, he moved to Amarillo, Tx and served for two years in the Texas Paramilitary. His true passion was stock trading, so he created his own company called, The Speculators’ Edge. In the latter part of his life, Louis found himself in auto sales where he derived great satisfaction helping his customers find the best financing for the car of their choice while improving their credit. He always had everyone’s best interest at heart. He loved his family and friends unconditionally. Louis was extremely outgoing and anyone that had the pleasure of crossing paths with him could feel his warmth, compassion, and profound generosity. His love and light will never be forgotten. 

 He was preceded in death by Henry and Evelyn Berg (Paternal Grandparents), Martha Wexall (Paternal Great Aunt), Billy and Beverly Gillman (Maternal Grandparents), Jane and Tom Moser (Maternal Grandparents), and Gary Fisher (Maternal Uncle).

He is survived by his wife, Tess Broaddus; his mother, Karen Berg and his father, Dennis Berg; his sister, Tasha and husband Anthony Whisenant;   his brother, Travis Abernathy; aunts and uncles; Cyndi Fisher, Rosalind and Dale Price, Denise and Keith Vernon, Carol and John Mawhinney, and Blake and Tonya Moore;  cousins; Mark and Jessica Reeves, Ashley and Zack Lee, Liz Johnson, Rashell and Mike White, Jacob Stroope, and Darren Sanders; niece and nephews; Makayla and Abel Franco, Brandon Caywood, William Whisenant, and London Abernathy; one great niece, two great nephews, and several other beloved family members.
