Loren Eugene Caddell

Loren Eugene Caddell, 72, was called home to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father on August 7, 2022.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Loren was born on December 18, 1949, in Denison, TX to Joseph and Lorelle Caddell. He was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. Loren spent several of his early adult years working for Levi Strauss, but he ended up spending the majority of his career in the automotive sales industry. After many years in sales, he advanced to managing car/truck sales at several dealerships in the Amarillo and Oklahoma City area. Loren was known to always mentor young men beginning careers in car/truck sales. Most, if not all, went on to be long-term friends and very successful salesmen. He was also looked up to by many of his nieces and nephews. Family was always important to Loren, especially his two daughters who were the light of his life. Loren left Amarillo for several years to spend time with his daughter, Sarah, and her children Logan and Sydney when they were young. Being a grandpa was a gift that he truly treasured. He adored his grandchildren, and they adored him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lorelle Caddell; his precious daughter, Katy Caddell; and his son-in-law, Guy Renda.

Loren is survived by his daughter, Sarah Renda; his grandchildren, Logan Cantrell and Sydney Cantrell-Renda; his beloved sister, Debra Hackett; his brother, Marvin Caddell; his sisters, Rita Steiner and Karel Bennett; and many nieces and nephews.
