Lisa Taylor – February 1, 2017

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Lisa was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Wellington to Dewey and Viola Sisk. She lived in Amarillo most of her life and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1970.
Lisa married Leonard Taylor of Perryton on February 20, 1972, in Lubbock. Lisa was a proud and committed homemaker, mother and grandmother.  Lisa and Leonard spent 45 years together building a life founded on unquestioned dedication to one another, love of family and friends, and service to anyone at any time.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father Dewey Sisk of Amarillo.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Taylor, of the home; her mother, Viola Sisk, of Amarillo; a daughter, Demetra “DeDe” Ward and husband Robert of Amarillo;  three sons, Lance Taylor and wife Dawn, of Frisco, Andrew Taylor and wife Katy of Perryton, and Matthew Taylor of Amarillo;  two sisters, Rita Koontz and husband David and Gail Simpson and husband Tom, all of Amarillo; and eight grandchildren who brought her unending joy, Dalton, Calvin, Brylie, Gracelyn, Collin, Gwyneth, Coulter and Jake.
The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at the funeral home and suggests memorials to the High Plains Food Bank, 815 S. Ross St., Amarillo, TX 79102.
