Linda Kay Ross Harriss, 66, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
The family requests attendees to wear orange, the MS color, in honor of Linda.
Linda was born March 5, 1947, in Wichita Falls to Jack and Beatrice Ross. She married Paul Harriss on July 3, 1964, in Amarillo. Linda was a Christian. She was looking forward to the birth of her second great-grandchild, Mason Ross Neel, in November. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother to everyone who walked through her door.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Larry; and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Harriss, of the home; a daughter, Charlotte Sharp and husband Jerrod of Amarillo; two sons, Charles Victor Harriss and James Paul Harriss, both of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, Jessica Neel and husband Kurtis, Kayla Patterson and husband Gary, Jaimie Sharp, Masadies Sharp, Shelby Harriss, Stormy Sharp and Jacob Harriss; a great-grandchild, Braden James Wollaston; and other special family members, Christal and Aubrey Vincent.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society Panhandle Chapter, 6222 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, TX 79109.
The family will be at 1311 Alta Vista in Amarillo.
