Linda Rose Hoskinson

Linda Rose Hoskinson, 79, of Amarillo, TX passed away February 13, 2025.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Linda was born January 20, 1946, in Floydada, TX to C.B. and Elvina “Bea” Crosby. She worked as a corrections officer for Potter County. The inmates called her Mrs. H and her claim to fame was her alcohol speech. She was kind to each person she met. Linda was always doing crafts and painting in her spare time. She loved her cats, she fed all of the strays and occasionally skunks, possums, and raccoons. Linda loved her boys; they were her shining lights!

Linda is survived by her sons, Dale Geist and wife Colleen, and Gary Geist and wife Gina; grandchildren, Dustin Geist and wife Heather, Colton Geist, Kayce Purcell, and Amber Hunt and husband Tyler; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Geist, Easton Geist, Mason Hunt, and Emma Hunt; and her sister, Charolette Windham.
