Lilly Mae Potter Nicholson

Lilly Mae Potter Nicholson, 81, formerly of Dumas, passed away on February 8, 2025 in Dimmitt Texas. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox,in Dumas. Private burial will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas. 

Lilly was born on March 29, 1943 (Twin to Billy), To Carl C (Boots) Potter, and Bertha Brown Potter in Brinkman, Oklahoma.

She Married Rollo David Nicholson in Dumas on October 8th 1960. She and her husband moved to Dimmitt Texas in 1979.

She had worked in Dimmitt for the USDA from 1980-1994

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Fred, Troy, and Bill Potter, her husband, David Nicholson, and one son Michael Ray Nicholson.

She is survived by one son David Charles Nicholson, one brother Larry Anglin, and wife Carla of Borger, and many nieces, and nephews.
