Leta Jane Payne

Leta Jane Payne, 74, of Amarillo, TX passed away January 2, 2025.

Leta was born May 12, 1950 to Noland Williams and Sadie Coyle. She grew up and attended school in Houston, TX. The family moved to Amarillo in 1993. She loved to play BINGO and going fishing. She had a soft spot in her heart for all animals. There was never a hungry dog around Leta. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sadie Coyle; dad whom she was raised by, Ray Hill: and brothers, Leon Allbritton and Hank Williams. 

Leta is survived by children, Sadie Ford, Richard Payne, and Michelle Payne; grandchildren, Betty Green, Darryl Putman Jr., Shane Putman, and Janie Hall; 5 great-grandchildren.
