Lester Hohensee

Lester Hohensee, age 86, of Moulton, TX passed away on October 16, 2022, in Amarillo, TX.

Lester was born on March 29, 1936, to Frank and Hattie Hohensee in Rowena, TX. He worked in the supermarket industry starting as the meat market manager and then working his way up to product merchandising for multiple stores.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 47 years, Lydia Hohensee.

Lester is survived by his son, Gayland Hohensee and wife Peggy; daughter, Karen Green and husband Scott; son, Mark Hohensee and wife Donita; daughter, Cheryl Hohensee-Angerstein and husband Paul; grandchildren, Kristen Lavender and husband Brent, Brandon Green and wife Barbie, Robert Green and wife Angela, and Kortnee Ranco and husband Eric; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Bradley Green; and step-great-grandchildren, Tylie and Tye Sheffield.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 10:00 A.M, with Father John Valdez as celebrant. Burial will be in Moulton, TX at a later date.
