Leon Ortwin Leimer, 87, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, August 12, 2022.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2022, at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Leon was born December 7, 1934, in Granite, OK to Hugo and Selma Leimer. He married Shirley Smith on July 1, 1960, in Perryton, TX. He and Shirley had one son, Gary, of Amarillo, TX. He worked for JM Huber as an electrical engineer for thirty-four years retiring in 1995.
In 2004, Shirley preceded him in death.
