Lelia “Maxine” Trollinger, 78, of Amarillo died Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2018, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Maxine was born December 1, 1939, in Dalhart to Oda and Fern Newman. She worked as a beautician in Fritch where she owned the beauty shop. Maxine enjoyed working in her yard, bowling, and playing Bunko.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Trollinger; two sisters, Loretta Stovall and Marlena Kerns; and two brothers, Harley Newman and Harold Newman.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Duncan and David Perry, of Amarillo; a son, Ronnie Trollinger and wife Terri, of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Brandon Trollinger of Baltimore, Maryland, Shannon Woodruff and husband Matt of Lubbock, Lauryn Denton and husband James of Midland, Ashley Duncan and Rachel Duncan, both of Amarillo, and Shawn Duncan and wife Alyssa of New York; and ten great-grandchildren, Logan and Mason Woodruff, Emily and Sydney Denton, Brooklyn Easley, Joshua and Chevi Graham, Kaizlei and Kaeson Duncan, and Tyler Reid.
