Lee Bellar, age 82, passed away peacefully to his heavenly home on Friday, July 21, 2023.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Lee was born on May 26, 1941, to James and Thelma Bellar in Muleshoe, TX.
He grew up on the family farm outside of Sudan, TX. Lee married Amelia Cruse on September 20, 1980, and enjoyed traveling throughout the country. He worked at Denman Building Products for over five Decades and traveled all over the United States. He was best known for his kind heart helping anyone in need and ensuring that everyone got help that needed it. He always had a positive impact on his family and friends. Lee touched many lives during his time and will be deeply missed as he embarks on the afterlife with his loving wife Amelia.
Lee is preceded in death by wife Amelia Bellar, his parents, brother, Jimmy Nathan Bellar, and sisters, Joyce Bellar Horne and Modina Bellar Hindman.
Lee is survived by his six children, Susan and Danny Annett, Crystal and Rene Castillo, Raymond and Cindy Cruse, Tim and Polly Cruse, Michael Bellar and Ronnie and Arlette Bellar; his brother, David Bellar; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
