Leanne Walker

Leanne Walker, 65, of Fritch, Texas, passed away January 15, 2025. 

Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, January 20, 2025, at Family Life Church, 3900 SW 58th Ave, Amarillo, Texas, with lead pastor Robbie Ashlock officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. 

Leanne was born in Rocky Ford, Colorado on September 12, 1959, to Lee Allen and Blanche Allen. She married the love of her life Dennis Walker on March 14, 1987. They made their home in Fritch, Texas, in 1999, where they raised all 6 of their kids. She worked at Borger News Herald for 20 years. Her hobbies included going to grandkids sporting events and birthdays, she also enjoyed watching the Broncos beat the Chief's ass. She never left anywhere without her Brisk tea. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Allen and Blanche Terry; her uncles, Glenn Frazier, Robert Frazier, Jake Frazier, and Butch Frazier; sister-in-law, Shy Allen; and granddaughter, Dena Allen. 

Leanne is survived by her husband, Dennis Walker, of the home; sons, David Allen and wife Crystal of Grove, Oklahoma; Maynard Walker and wife Nicole of Amarillo, Texas; Dustin Allen of San Antonio, Texas; Eddie Walker and wife Christal of Amarillo, Texas; Kallie Walker of Borger, Texas; and Dee Allen and wife Kaitlyn of Pampa, Texas; her siblings, Linda and husband Mike Jesse;  Terry and wife Mary Allen, of Edgewood, New Mexico; Ronnie and wife Diane Allen; Kelly and wife Mary Allen, of Skiatook, Oklahoma; and Paul Allen and girlfriend, Pam, of Amarillo, Texas; and 19 grandkids.
