Lea Anne Handing

Lea Anne Handing, 57, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, August 1, 2022.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a

.m., Friday, August 5, 2022, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Canyon, TX with Rev. Scott Raef as celebrant.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Umbarger, TX.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Lea Anne was born August 24, 1964, in Dimmitt, TX to Al and Patsy Huseman.  She graduated from Nazareth High School in 1982.  Lea Anne worked at Cowsert Abstract for several years

before marrying the love of her life, Mark Handing, in December 1986.

Lea Anne enjoyed helping others, she babysat, for years helped her husband farm, and loved gardening, animals, and being outdoors.  She also enjoyed cooking and volunteering at church.  She was the president of Christian Mothers for many years.  Lea Anne also enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors and always prayed for others.  She loved watching her two boys growing up

and then her three granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy, and her husband, Mark.

Lea Anne is survived by her sons, Martin and his wife Sarah, and Troy; three granddaughters, Paxton, Averie, and Emerie, all of Amarillo; her father; three brothers; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
