Kourtlan Gage Slaton

Kourtlan Gage Slaton, 24, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on August 6, 2022.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Kourtlan had such a beautiful smile, gorgeous blue eyes and when he laughed, everyone laughed.

He was my heart.

He was loyal, if you needed him, he would drop everything and go.

He illuminated love for his family and his honorary brothers and a crazy love for his son Ryker Storm.

He loved anything that went fast, skateboards, bulls, dirt bikes and he left us owning his first Harley Davidson.

He took something ugly and turned it into a masterpiece.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Slaton; his dog, Oliver; and honorary brother, Alex Rushing.

He is survived by his mother, Jakki Brack, son, Ryker Storm; sisters, Jillian Finney and husband Wade, and Jourdan Rios and husband Isaac; brothers, Kennison Slaton, and Zach Leach; nephews, Beau, Samuel, Christian, and Lane; nieces Lola, Dallas, and Jayden; Godmother, Marchell Elliott; honorary brothers, Brody Keplinger, Brayden Southerland, Hunter Bell, Colten Howard, Max Wiley, Cole Thomas, Taylor Jones, Stanton Taylor, Pete Rodriguez, Myles Longor, Anel Muratovic, Tarron Stinnett, Quade Carlton, Benny Darnell, Daniel Hernandez, Freddy Hernandez, Sebastian Sanford, and Jabaar Turner; and honorary sister, Kendra Middleton.

Special thanks to No Regret Tattoo Parlor, David and Pam Oberbrockling, Charles Inman, and Paul, Barry, and Brenda Christy.
