Kimberly Fawn Brasher, 55, of Fayetteville, AR passed away June 8, 2024.
Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Church of Christ at the Colonies. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Kimberly was born on September 17, 1968 into the arms of her Mama, Gayle (Lonsway-Peterson) Brasher and Daddy Eddie Brasher, sister, Tracy Shawn in Amarillo, Texas. Kimberly was a graduate of the Little Red Schoolhouse, Coronado Elementary, Austin Middle School, Tascosa High School, and Abilene Christian University obtaining a degree in Special Education.
Kimberly was diagnosed with Dyslexia at age 5 by the Amarillo Speech and Hearing Center. She excelled in handling her dyslexia and she went on to become a Certified Teacher helping and teaching middle school students to handle and overcome their disability. Kim recently was living in Austin, TX and teaching at OJEDA Middle School. Kimberly was a member of Christian Life Cathedral and with her GOD and Savior Jesus Christ, she travelled and lived worldwide to include Denton, Dallas, Austin, Alaska, Bali, Amsterdam, Southern California, Arkansas, Thailand, and Italy. In Fayetteville, AR, she owned and operated a pre-school, “The Edge of the Woods.” She wrote a book called, “Treasure in the Woods”, sharing her many adventures with each and every one of her treasured students. Kimberly was also a certified Yoga instructor at Be One Yoga Studio and Owner-CEO at Happy Face Management.
Kimberly married Robin Geoffrey Rues and so happily blessed life with Rain E. Rues and Aurora Blue Brasher Rues. She rode and raced motorcycles and was a winner deluxe with many awards and triumphs. But not to forget, nor overlook her sophisticated upbringing as a 1986 Symphony Belle!
Kimberly Fawn Brasher died so suddenly, so tragically, so shockingly- this amazing and awesome person was swept from this life and thrust into the arms of our God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Kimberly Fawn, who in life, brought so much love, fun, laughter, and adventure leaves behind sorrow filled hearts of many.
She is survived by her Children, Rain and Blue; Mama and Daddy, Gayle and Eddie; sister and brother-in-law, Tracy Shawn and Russell Van Pennington; nieces, Brently and Braid Pennington, and Breck and husband Jacob Engle; nephews, Josiah, Jake, and Asher Pennington; great-niece, Lilias Wilde Grace Engle; and more extended family and friends galore.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her beloved great-nephew, Louis Van Engle.
Kimberly to state a simplicity was just exactly like her daddy, they BOTH hold a Doctorate Degree in Life, Love, Fun, Adventure, and Happiness!
Dearest Kimberly, your dream of collecting 1000 gratitude’s from family and friends ends with you- being a gratitude in a billion plus lives. We will miss you and have Loved and Treasured you Intensely and Immensely. You will forever more live in our hearts!
