Kenneth Maurice Savage

Kenneth Maurice Savage was born May 17, 1944. He returned to our Lords kingdom on January 7, 2025. He was 80 years old.

Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Kenneth was proceeded in death by both his mother and father as well as his brother and 1st Grandson- KW Savage. He is survived by his wife Sharon of 60 years, two sons; Craig and wife Pam, Aaron and wife Krissy, 3 grandchildren;

Dillan, Kurry and Kamryn, a nephew-Scott, great nephew- Brandon, great niece - Ashley, sister in-law Brenda and his amazing dog Cinnamon.

Kenneth was a wonderful husband and father. He dedicated his life to his family and service to others. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard, and in the 1980's, Kenneth served his community as a Potter County Reserve Deputy Sheriff. In Kenneths youth, he loved to Skydive, work on and ride motorcycles and build and race cars. In addition to a 25-plus year career in the aircraft paint industry, Kenneth served 13 years as a Corrections official. Kenneth was especially proud to have been a member of the Masonic Lodge and rose to the status of Master Mason. As a father, Kenneth valued the time he spent coaching both his sons in softball and teaching them the value of hard work. In his later life, Kenneth and Sharon enjoyed cruising in their red Corvette and traveling with their many friends in the Corvette Club.

Kenneth touched the lives of so many through out his life. He will be missed by all. We are comforted in knowing he watches over us from heaven and is walking side by side with our Lord and loved ones.
