June Renay Bell, 68, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on October 1, 2023.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M., Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with her grandson, Keegan Conway officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Renay was born in Muleshoe, Texas on April 10, 1955, to Eunice Magoline and J.B. James. She married Paul Bell in Springlake, Texas on December 21, 1974.

Renay worked as a bank teller for nearly 50 years, she was employed by Bank of America. She loved her work family, and she had loyal customers who would only want to see her. Sometimes her line would get so long that she would have to encourage her customers to visit with other tellers.

Family meant the world to Renay, and she raised her family to be family oriented. She was married to her husband, Paul, for almost 49 years. Renay and Paul worked at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch as house parents. In that time, they were blessed with many additional sons that they loved whole heartedly.

Renay was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was nurturing, compassionate, and always forgiving.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janette Pellham; brothers, Jearl James, and Harold Ray James.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Bell; daughters, Vanessa Conway-Keith and husband Cody, and Shelia Burton and husband Randy; grandchildren, Keegan Conway and wife Elizabeth, Alex Conway, Lily Keith, Hunter Burton, and Bailee Burton; great-granddaughter on-the-way, Selah Rose Conway; sisters, Linda Duckworth, and Jennifer Pellham; niece, Jessica Rodriguez; their Boys Ranch Family, Alex Dennis and wife Summer and their son Austin, and Jared Morland and wife Angel and their son David; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
