Judith ‘Judy’ Annette Robertson, 77, of Amarillo, TX passed into the loving arms of her Savior Sunday, October 23, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Polk Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Deckard officiating.
Judy was born March 1, 1945, in Haskell, Texas to Raymond and Edna Ammons. Later in her life, Dick Stansell entered her world as her loving stepfather.
She married Donald ‘Sonny’ Robertson on January 4, 1964, at Forrest Hill Methodist church. They were blessed with a child, Kimberly Robertson.
Judy graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1963. Vocationally she was a professional cosmetologist and worked passionately to care for others until she retired at the age of 73. Judy was an active member of Polk Street United Methodist church where she served as the secretary for the Aldersgate Sunday School Class. She volunteered in her community to provide Snack Pack for kids in need and her local food bank.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws; and her sister, Linda Stiles.
Judy is survived by her husband, Donald Robertson; her daughter, Kimberly Clark and son-in-law, David Clark; her two grandchildren, Devin Clark and wife, Kara, and Drey Clark and wife, Lainy; and her two great-grandchildren, Declan and Daisy Elliott Clark. She is also survived by her sisters Glenda Wilde, Peggy Derryberry and husband, Ray, and Carol Edwards and husband, John. Her loving extended family consists of many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and brothers and sisters in-law.
