Judith Burks Gregoris, 81, of Amarillo, Texas, was reunited with her savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, May 2, 2022.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 6, 2022, in the First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Viewing will be from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Judith was born in Amarillo, Texas on December 8, 1940, to Elizabeth and A.T. Burks.  Judith married Stephen Gregoris on November 11, 1965, in Amarillo, Texas. The couple lived in Lubbock, Texas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma before settling back in Amarillo.  After their children graduated from high school, the couple lived in Dallas, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; and San Antonio, Texas before she moved back to Amarillo to be with her children and grandchildren.

Judith was a dedicated homemaker who truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with friends and family over a cup of tea.  She enjoyed crafting and cooking and excelled at both. Her greatest joy was being “Mimi” to her three grandchildren whom she loved dearly.  As a 1959 graduate of Amarillo High, she truly enjoyed watching her grandsons play football and her granddaughter cheer for the Sandies. She was a lifelong follower of Christ and shared with everyone around her what Jesus had done for her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Gregoris, a daughter, Christine Beavers, a sister, Wanda Caudy, and her parents.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Juli Tittle and husband David, of Amarillo, TX; three grandchildren whom she adored: Andrew Tittle, John Tittle, and Ellie Tittle; son-in-law, Chad Beavers, of Hereford, TX; brothers-in-law, Michael Gregoris and wife Mari, of Bethlehem, PA, and Bill Caudy, of Amarillo, TX; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be sent to First Baptist Church Amarillo Children’s Ministry.  Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  Matthew 19:14
