Juanita Villalovos

Juanita Villalovos, 90, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on August 18, 2023. Services will be at Zapata Funeral Home in Spur, Texas on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 10 a.m. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo, and Zapata Funeral Home, Spur.

Juanita was born on August 27th, 1932 in Port Lavaca, Texas. She married the love of her life Jesus Villalovos on April 19th, 1953, and moved to Detroit to start a family. She attended Saint Joseph Catholic Church. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, she enjoyed spending time outside gardening and taking care of her yard.

She is survived by two sons, Arturo Villalovos of Detroit, MI, and Manuel Villalovos, Amarillo; daughter, Faye Scalise and her husband John Scalise, Amarillo; grandchildren Rachel Carter and husband Brian Carter, Jessica Griffin, and Chad Nevarez;

great-grandchildren Kyrie Griffin, Cali Griffin, and Ava Carter. Viewing will be available at Zapata Funeral Home, 602 Burlington Ave, Spur, TX 79370 from 5pm-7pm on Sunday. August 20, 2023.
