Joseph Brian Jacob, 66, of Amarillo, TX went to join the Lord on April 7, 2024.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Brian was born in Amarillo, TX on August 1, 1957, to Billy Jack and Grady Anne Jacob.
Brian went to Southwest Texas State, where he majored in Occupational Education. He began his teaching career at Amarillo High, and then taught automotive at Amarillo College for many years.
Brian was married to Lynae Jacob for 41 years, and they had two children, Jordan, and Connor.
Brian loved spending time outdoors, especially at his family’s cabin in Colorado. He loved to hunt, fish, and grill. He was always building and fixing things and could often be found working on a project in his garage.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John; and his son, Connor.
He is survived by his sisters, Cathy Lamberth and her husband, Jay, and Linda Richardson and her husband Bill, as well as his daughter, Jordan, and many nieces and nephews.
