Jimmy was born February 13, 1929, in Hollis, Oklahoma to Robert and Donia Teague.  He was a retired firefighter for the City of Amarillo. Jimmy was known as a kind and giving man who loved his family and friends and was a father figure to many. He loved working with his hands, always fixing things or building something himself. Jimmy believed in giving back to God and his church. The love of his life was his wife, Dorothy, of 67 years.  We believe they are joyfully reunited in Heaven.

    Carolyn,
We send our deepest & sincerest condolences to you & your family. As you know, my dad died in April so I can really sympathize with your loss. I didn’t know your dad but I’m sure he was a great man, too, who will be sorely missed.
    Much love,
    Robin & Jim Shelley

    Carolyn and Toni,
I loved knowing your father and mother. They were both much loved by family and friends.
When I heard of Jimmy passing, I didn’t cry, I smiled. He lived a good life and is now in Heaven drinking coffee with Dorothy by his side. My mom and dad are with them along with many friends.
    With much love, Jodi

I loved Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Jimmy. They were the Christian roll models we should all follow. Today they are together in Heaven!
I know I will see them again.
Love you my family, God Bless, Laura

I am so sorry and very sad to hear of our family losing Jimmy. I still have wonderful memories of him coming to Oregon to visit when I was much younger. He was such a loving and kind man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you….
    Love, Danna Coleman and family….

You and your family are in my daily prayers.
Your tribute was beautiful. You were a wonderful daughter to both of your parents. They are together now and watching over you and your family.
