Jim was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He spent most of his life as a maintenance supervisor and creating solutions. He loved nature, outdoors, shooting guns, cooking out with family, Turner Classic Films, and loved all genres of music. When he wasn’t working, he could either be found tinkering away in his garage on another project, spending time with the family and spoiling his grandchildren. He worked hard for his family his whole life and he loved with his whole heart. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Nelda Irving; father, Jimmy Irving; aunt, Anita Carrol; and a brother, Richard Irving.
Survivors include best friend and mother of his children, Teresa Irving; a son, Gabe Irving and wife Kimberly; a daughter, Amanda Murray and husband Dean; a daughter, Misti Garcia and husband Jesse; a son, Jacob Irving, all of Amarillo. He absolutely adored his grandchildren, Annabel, Hanson, Levi, and Ryder. Additional survivors include one sister and 3 brothers. He was very loved and will be missed dearly.
