Jesus (Chuy) Rios Juanes, 58, passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2025.

Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Blessed Sacrament, 2500 S. Bolton. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Jesus was born on April 16, 1966 in Durango Mexico to Lucino Rios and Consuelo Juanes. He married the love of his life Antonia Contreras on July 12, 1987 and welcomed 3 children together Adriana Rios, Alejandra Rios and Jesse Rios. Jesus was caring, generous, friendly and very hard working. He spent his free time starting projects at home and spending time with his grandchildren who he adored. He worked at Antons Greenhouse in Evanston Illinois for 27 years and was currently employed at Gilvin Terrill since 2019.

Jesus was preceded in death by his parents Lucino Rios, Consuelo Rios, two brothers Cesar and Rogelio Rios, brother-in-law Arnulfo Avila.

He is survived by his wife Antonia Contreras; children, Ana Rios, Adriana Rios, Ruby Rios, Alejandra Rios and Jesse Rios; grandchildren, Dorian Rios, Daelyn Vazquez, Fabian Vazquez, Shayla Gonzalez, Ramon Gonzalez, Ezrah Gonzalez, Milan Rodriguez, Amir Alamos, Arizona Rios, and Jaecll Rios; siblings, Ginia Chavez, Rosa Rios, Roberto Rios, Jorge Rios, Rodolfo Rios and Tomas Rios; daughter-in-law, Jaeci Silva; and sons-in-law, Ricky Alamos and Juan Gonzalez.
