Janice Merle Schuman

Janice Merle Schuman (nee Wallace), 73, passed away on May 22, 2023, in Amarillo, TX.

She was born on September 6, 1949, in Alva, OK, to Lula and Peewee Wallace. Janice is survived by her son and family, D.J., Dana, and Dexter; daughter and family, Carley, Jake, and Marleigh; sister Kathy and husband Bob; and niece and family, Keri, Troy, Nicholas, and Aiden. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lula and Peewee Wallace, and brother, Mike Wallace.

Janice was known for her feisty personality, quick wit, and hilarious sense of humor. She had great, unending love and generosity for her friends and family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson, Dexter. Janice loved spending time with friends and family, decorating for Halloween and Christmas, and making others laugh.

A come-and-go gathering for friends and family will be held at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, May 27, from 1-3 pm.
